Hampton Meadows Activities

There are many activities at Hampton Meadows, including "official" Committees and clubs, and also informal clubs. The Committee structure is currently being revised. Results will be posted here as they become available.

The Sunshine Kitchen is a temporary service available for those with a serious illness or for someone who has just returned home from the Hospital. A meal would be provided for 2-3 days to allow for other arrangements to be made.

Bridge--- A group of ladies meet at the clubhouse on Tuesday mornings for Bridge lessons. After lunch, they play the game to practice what they've learned. The instructor is Bea Friedman, a very qualified ACBL Life Master.

Poker --- Tuesday nights at the clubhouse from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. The stakes are a modest 5 and 10 cents so not too much can be lost or won. The games are dealers choice and generate a wide range of poker games.

Skiing --- Downhill skiing is an activity that requires a mountain and lifts. Some of the HM people get together and take day trips. A few have gone out west for a ski vacation. These trips are irregular and depend on snow conditions, etc.

Tennis --- Various groups get together in the "good weather" season. Wednesday mornings a group of ladies play doubles. Thursday mornings a foursome of mixed doubles play on a regular basis. The tennis court is lightly used and arrangements can easily be made to get court time.
